Anyone who knows me knows I love animals. I founded Dog Walking Plus in 2002. Ponga & Zeke, my retired racing greyhounds, were the inspiration. They touched my heart. The dog walking service took off beyond my wildest expectations. It’s truly a labor of love for me.

When I retired from the Post Office several years ago I knew I wanted to do something to keep in shape. A mutual friend of ours mentioned Andra’s dog walking service so I contacted her. It’s been fun. I get paid to exercise and play with your dogs. I even get to rescue a stray now and then.

My kids are all grown up now but they still come and go from our home. When I was laid-off from the school I’d been working at I thought this might be enjoyable work for me. I have two dogs myself so this seemed a natural fit for me. I love the dogs I walk. I really like to see them daily.

I’m a substitute teacher by profession. I enjoy walking dogs on the days I’m not taking care of children. When there are evening visits sometimes my husband joins me.
